2. General information on data processing

In principle, we process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent), (b) (contract / pre-contractual measures) and (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The server location is in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.

When the website is accessed, the server automatically collects information transmitted by your browser (server log files): IP address, date and time of access, file requested, volume of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, operating system and referrer URL. This data serves the technical provision, stability and security of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The log files are deleted after a short period, unless they are required to investigate security incidents.

4. Contact via contact form, email or phone

If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process the data you provide in order to handle your enquiry. For the contact form these are:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Company (optional)
  • Your message

Processing is carried out on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) and, insofar as the enquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected and no statutory retention obligations preclude deletion.

The data submitted via the form is transmitted to us by email; it is not stored in a separate database.

For sending and receiving our emails we use IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS processes the data contained in the emails on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

5. Fonts (local hosting)

For a consistent presentation, this website uses fonts (“Inter” and “Montserrat”) that are embedded locally on our server. No connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google) takes place; your IP address is not transmitted to third parties for this purpose.

6. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this site uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in the address bar of your browser.

7. Your rights as a data subject

Under the GDPR, you have in particular the following rights:

  • Access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Withdrawal of consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)

To exercise your rights, an informal message to the contact details listed under point 1 above is sufficient.

8. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Responsible, among others, is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestr. 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.

9. Currency of this privacy policy

This privacy policy is dated June 2026. Due to the further development of the website or changes in legal requirements, it may become necessary to amend this privacy policy. This English text is a convenience translation; the German version prevails in case of doubt.
